Founding Accountant
Set up the finance function, reporting and controls ahead of launch.
What you'll do
- Stand up the finance function, close process and reporting.
- Build controls and reconciliation for money movements.
- Partner with tax, audit and payroll providers.
- Own forecasts and board-ready reporting.
What we're looking for
- CPA or equivalent, with hands-on accounting experience
- Experience in a startup or early-stage finance role
- Strong Excel/Sheets and accounting software skills
- Eye for controls and process rigor
Nice to have
- Fintech, payments or marketplace experience
- Comfort with SQL and financial data
- Experience with international payroll and tax
